Our Support Initiative for Americans for Safe Access

Medical cannabis and its therapeutic benefits have long been debated and fought over for decades. Safe access to medical cannabis has only recently been a reality for many patients across the United States.

According to Harvard Health Blog, the most common use of medical marijuana is pain control. Advances in technology and advocacy for medicinal cannabis have proven to show cannabis can help with numerous conditions ranging from Alzheimer’s disease to pain associated with cancer.

Americans for Safe Access

Founded in 2002, the ASA is the largest national member-based organization promoting safe and legal access to cannabis for therapeutic use and research. Medical cannabis patient Steph Sherer founded the establishment to push the acceptance of cannabis for medical use.

The organization is made up of patients, scientists, medical professionals, and other concerned citizens advocating for reliable access to medical cannabis.
